皮克斯动画工作室是全球最好的三维动画工作室，他们的三维动画风靡全球，绝大部分我都看过，像《料理鼠王》、《怪物公司》等等都是我的最爱，《机器人总动员》是皮克斯出的的一部大作，真的是非常好看。
电影中描述的是三百年后的地球。那时侯，地球上已经被垃圾所覆盖，不适宜人类居住。人们只好乘宇宙飞船在外太空中四处游荡，但是，他们在大转移中不慎将主人公瓦力遗留在了地面上。在智能机器人伊娃返回地球，寻找最后一株地球植物时，与瓦力一见钟情，随后，它俩便展开了一段奇妙之旅。
在人类居住在地球的时间里，瓦力每天要干的事无非是吃饭，看电视，睡觉，像一个胸无大志的懒汉。但是，等整个地球上只剩下它一个人的时候，它的生活发生了戏剧性的转变，它有了自己的人生目标——用垃圾建一座城堡。这个目标像一块香浓的巧克放到了瓦力白开水一样的生活中。它的垃圾城堡的目标也许是荒唐的，但它面对困难乐观的态度却值得我去学习。
